On June 15th ResCare HomeCare is hosting a workshop for the Banner Alzheimer's Institute on "The Memory Spectrum from Normal Aging to Alzheimer's Disease". The guest speaker for the workshop is Jan Dougherty, RN, MS Family & Community Services Director for the Banner Alzheimer's Institute.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) now affects 5.3 million Americans with many more Americans complaining of "Senior Moments". This workshop covers typical changes in memory with age verses changes associated with AD. Also discussed during the workshop are prevention strategies and specific techniques designed to help Caregivers manage day to day care for a person with AD/dementia.
